Not quite big but still interesting if you know Finnish music and singers. It's a Finnish music and artists history museum. But still if you don't know anything about it there is a few interesting things like virtual karaoke and dancing studio. If you go there go in every whole in there, behind curtains and every glass door. And there is a nice souvenir shop and a good restaurant too.
Better than expected. Who's who in Finnish music does not engage well with foreign tourists but there were pretty interesting immersive experiences including 3D karaoke experience!! Unexpected but impressive
It's ok. It's quite small but they have a good variety of music and gizmos. Saddly the quality of videos are not the best (grainy) and some of the expo equipment was not working properly. Its also sad that Neljä Ruusua is not in the museo of Finn music when they are the oldest, still together, band in Finland.
It is a small museum in the mall of tripla. A good experience of Finnish music. Videos on the walls are really good, virtual reality also good. There are some screens to listen to the music. It is expensive without the museumkortti. Staff is helpful.
Scam to get families traveling to Helsinki to pay 25e for a one room "museum" with barely any items. Price is high to get people with Museum Card to go (free with the card) , so that they get the maximum provision from the Finnish Museum Association. I suggest you to not go and support this kind of scummy behaviour.
This museum is a total disappointment. It is hard to find in the mall, there are only eight rooms for 25 euros, this is mad..
Finland has yet such a great musical story and is the HEAVY METAL country!
And there was not even a room about Sonata Arctica or Lordi and their outstanding Eurovision performance in 2006.
What a shame!!!
Really, really small and wayyy too expensive for what you get! Cute staff-girl though.
The exhibitions are not very interesting, on my opinon🤨 we wish to see the Eurovision winning from 2006, or some Metal music - but most of the museum was just classic music and the museum itself was so tiny and small
